At this visit, growth is assessed by measuring weight, height, and BMI (body mass index). In addition, nutrition and exercise counseling is offered. Questionnaires include screenings for cardiac, cholesterol, tuberculosis. HPV vaccine is offered. An Influenza vaccine may be offered depending on availability.
Vision and hearing tests are completed.
Fasting labs may be ordered at this visit to check for anemia, cholesterol, and diabetes.
